Based in Porec, Tetida covers the whole of Istria and offers a full range of properties.
With many years of real estate experience, Azra Pleh opened Tetida in 1998. Since then, she and her colleague, Mandica Nadarevic, have been helping people find and settle into their Istrian properties – and about 80% of their business is with foreigners.
Talking with Azra, her enthusiasm shines out. “I love my job,” she says. “I love meeting different people and being part of their new start. Sometimes, what people ask for and what they really want aren’t always the same thing. I like recognising what people are dreaming of and trying to make that happen. Many estate agents just show people everything they have on their books: that isn’t my approach, I take great pride in only showing properties that really match what they are after. Of course I can be wrong, but I’m right more often than not. It’s a wonderful feeling helping people find their dreams!”

Happy customers are all important to Azra. “About half of our customers come via recommendation,” she said, “so it’s a big responsibility living up to their expectations. But it’s very rewarding: 99% of people who buy through us stay in touch.”

Location
Tetida is in an attractive old house next to the roundabout, near the sea-front. If you park by the marina and tourist stalls, walk back towards the roundabout and you’ll see Tetida in the building on the other side, on the right. Entrance is through a small foot-gate.
